Chara Info: Max Galactica is the star of the circus. . .and the star of a murder trial! He's accused of killing the circus master, but did he really do it?
Why Him?: I haven't had the chance to play much of the Phoenix Wright series, but my friends wanted to do a group from the series for Anime Vegas 2008. So I told them, "Pick the most flamboyant character and I'll cosplay him or her." Oh BOY, did they pick it!
The Story: I have NEVER been more embarassed to be in a costume before!
The outfit's not horribly made, but it's definitely not one of my best. I was in the middle of buying my house and moving as I was making this, and I think the end product reveals that my mind wasn't really on it when I was sewing it. As a result, I'm not going to detail how I made the costume. I do have to say that I really love the fabric I used for the pants and jacket. It was hard making a jacket from such stretchy and slippery material, but the sheen was just perfect for this artbook version of Max.
I highly doubt I'll ever wear this costume again. I wouldn't mind getting a guy with a REAL manchest to wear it for me, though XD.
